$41 Billion Spent on Pets Annually | Who Knew?
When we speak of large markets, we think of insurance, food, automobile, and oil; but one market that is immense and astoundingly flies under the radar is the Pet Market. It is simply astounding on how much people will spend on their pets. Record sales where reported this holiday season for pet supplies and pet gifts. Pet stores are not the only ones profiting from this craze; more is spend on veterinarian visits than ever before. People are giving their pets organ transplants, heart surgery, and testicular implants. Yes, you heard me right! I said testicular implants. An inventor developed what he has coined with the term Neuticles; which is a patented testicular implant that goes on a dog after he is neutered to have the appearance of having all his body parts. These cosmetic implants cost $919.00 a pair and are becoming very popular.
I know all this sounds crazy, but this is the world we live in. I guess just take it in and laugh, and if you have your dog neutered, now he does not need to feel any less manly.
